**This is my first ukulele I put on the shelf and just ignored for forever! Ha! So it is historic! ;) So, what happened is the finish on the top had a scratch in it and I tried to buff it out and I made it worse. Tried to fix it another way, made it worse! So I did an ostrich and put my head in the sand. I put it on a shelf to fix up later. Well, time taught me a few things and I totally know how to buff out a scratchy finish and I had all the right compounds for that. But I kept putting off fixing this one up to sell! Well, FINALLY, I got around to it, and am just determined to send it on to someone who will love it despite the fact that at the end of the day I am losing money on it and selling it for less that I bought it for. But... whatever! I want someone to love it and play it and it is pretty! Just dont look too close because I did a lot of buffing, but the finish still is slightly scratchy. But it isnt obvious but you would have to hold it at an angle in the light and really make someone look if you wanted them to notice. But it is heavily discounted! Also, I felt like it needed new strings so it already has a fluorocarbon string upgrade and it sounds wonderful! It is buzz free and has nice action! **
Cedar has a wonderful low, resonant, boomy voice. It is rich and full! This one is no different! It sounds wonderful! The laminate koa back and sides adds stability, but also the laminate packs some punch so you will get a good attack out of this uke! The abalone detailing and the pretty fretboard make this a gorgeous ukulele to look at as well! It really shines!
Solid cedar top; Hawaiian koa back and sides; rosewood fingerboard and bridge; mahagony neck; Paua shell purfling on top, back, rosette and headstock; maple binding, simulated Bone nut and saddle; chrome die-cast sealed geared tuners.
