**Sometimes I purchase B-stock ukuleles on purpose in order to pass some savings onto my customers. These are cosmetically blemished ukuleles that are still playable and structurally sound. This one has a splotchiness to the stain. The finish is fine, but it is the stain that did not take perfectly to the wood leaving a few light spots. I took close up pictures. It is only a cosmetic issue. It will save you some money, and you will still get a great sounding and playing ukulele. Even Blemished ukuleles get my full setup!**
This uke gives you the warmth, fullness, and tone of the mahogany through the top, then adds the stability that comes with a laminate back and sides! It sounds great, has really good projection, nice frets, and good tuners. It is a great ukulele and is a favorite among my customers. The laminate back and sides is stable in a variety of temperature and humidity conditions. The sound is loud, full, robust, and warm. You can't beat the make and the quality of this Ohanas. They are a great build and quality for the money.
