Ohana Sopranino SK-21M Blem Vintage Style Mahogany Ukulele M691
**I order B-stock ukuleles every once in awhile to pass the savings onto my customers. These are only aesthetic blemishes and does not effect the tone, stability, and playability of the ukulele and it still gets a great set-up. But sometimes it is nice to save money if you are not worried about a little blem here and there. This one has a small spot on the front under the fretboard and one small spot on the back. I think it sort of brings out the vintage appeal of the uke personally. It is hard to see unless you are looking for it. So you can save some money and get a ukulele with just a little cosmetic blemish that will sound great!**
Sopraninos are great little ukes! They are smaller than a soprano, have a smaller scale than a soprano, and very charming and portable, and a lot of fun to play!!! Ohana makes their Sopraninos very light, so they still have a big voice for a small instrument. This one is all solid mahogany. It it the vintage-style modeled after the old Martins. They have a lighter weight mahogany and a vintage finish. So it will have a bit of an aged rubbed look. Mahogany has a warm and rich tone. The beauty of it being an all-solid instrument is, the more you play it, the better it will sound!
If a soprano is too small for you, this ukulele will be too small for you! Really give it some thought before you order. The tiny scale is not for everyone, but if you have been hankering for a small ukulele that is still SUPER playable and for the size has a great sound! Then this ukulele is for you! Unlike the sopranissimos, the sopraninos can handle being tuned GCEA, though most people like the sound of it tuned up. It is nice that GCEA can be an option for when you are playing in groups!
Now, lets talk set-up! With the short-scale the set up is very important! VERY IMPORTANT! And your sopranino will play slick if it comes from me. Set up is ALWAYS included and drop-shipping is NEVER done!
