**I bought these blemished ukuleles to pass on some savings to my customers who do not mind a cosmetic blemish on their ukulele. It in no way effects the playability or stability of your ukulele and is purely cosmetic. It will save you some money though. I will note what I noticed on each blemished ukulele:
This one has a line in the top of the wood. It isnt a crack that goes all the way through. But rather more of a superficial wood line. It is only on the surface and if it gets worse you have the assurance that it is covered by warranty. It will still get the same great setup; But in the end it will save you some money!**
This is a unique model from Ohana. Made from premium mahogany, a rubbed vintage finish, a aged looking binding, and a light construction and build, this ukulele does a good job of capturing the essence of the look, playability, and sound of the vintage mahogany Martins. It is made to look a little aged, and has a nice vintage look and a wonderful full sound. This is a newer version of this model with a little more gloss to the finish and bone nut and saddle. But with the same light construction that gives this ukulele its tonal power! Mahogany has a warm, rich, mellow tone to it. This -38 series, with its light construction, really packs a lot of punch, tone, and resonance. It really is unique and sounds amazing. The beauty of it being an all-solid instrument is, the more you play it, the better it will sound. All-solid instruments open up with time, but will still sound amazing right out of the box. I think you will be very pleased!
