This is a great ukulele. It is laminate so it is great for travel, a starter uke, and for stability in all sorts of temperature and humidity conditions. It has the nice punchy and warm ukulele sound, with the great build and quality that comes from Kala! And of course it will be set up with the same care that my high end ukes are set up with for easy and buzz free playability. I believe every ukulele, no matter the price point, deserves a great setup The action will be comfortable and easy for beginners to fret and even learn the more difficult chords. This is especially important for beginners and kids. I think you will be very pleased with this uke!
