For now I no longer offer Kala, but I have been going through my dead stock and realized I have a limited amount of Kalas that got put on my repair shelf, even though they had nothing wrong with them. So I am dropping the price and getting them moved on to my customers. It will get the same great set-ups that I give all my ukuleles! So if you want a Kala with a Mim set-up, now is your chance.
I love a cedar top! It is loud, rich, full, and gives an ukulele a big sound. The laminate acacia back and sides adds a lot of stability in various temperature and humidity changed, BUT, in this uke is also adds a lot of punch and a lot of attack, which you get from solid acacias and koas. So this is a loud, full, and punchy ukulele! It is probably my favorite Kala model to sell. It is reasonably priced, with a great tone, and a beautiful build. Customers tell me how much they enjoy this ukulele! I think you will be very pleased with the sound. Everyone who has bought one so far has loved it! The natural wood paduk binding, the slotted headstock, and the gloss finish make this ukulele stand out. And of course I will set it up with low action for comfortable playing, optimal intonation, and a buzz free ukulele! This is a great ukulele for the price!
