With a wider nut, low action, and beautiful wood grains, this import version of the KoAloha design gives you a great, well made instrument, at an affordable price! This way you can grow with KoAloha from an imported beginner ukulele, to the all-solid Opio, to the Made in Hawaii traditional KoAlohas.

It packs a lot of volume and resonance. With a full crisp attack! It has a lot of sustain and smooth playability!  I love the tone of these.  Laminates can sometimes sound dull, but these are light weight and resonant and has an exceptional tone for a laminate ukulele.  And as always, the uke you see is the uke you get, and I will make sure your frets are level and set it up nicely for you!

I stopped offering the earlier versions of KoAlana because I wasn't happy with the fit and finish... but this time they got it right and I whole heartedly recommend these beautiful instruments for anybody looking for a well made laminate that sounds great!  If you are looking for a take-anywhere uke, this is your uke!
