For now I no longer offer Kala, but I have been going through my dead stock and realized I have a limited amount of Kalas that got put on my repair shelf, even though they had nothing wrong with them. So I am dropping the price and getting them moved on to my customers. It will get the same great set-ups that I give all my ukuleles! So if you want a Kala with a Mim set-up, now is your chance.
This is a great ukulele with a crisp and bright spruce sound. But it has a very well rounded tone because it also packs a lot of warmth and punch with a Pau Ferro back and sides. It has elegant detailing with the headstock inlay and and sweet scoop cutaway makes it a beautiful ukulele to look at as well. The scallop cutaway allows easy access to the upper frets. It has a lot of volume and resonance. I will set it up beautifully so it will be a joy to play and to look at.
