It is light-weight making it super resonant and full and loud for a soprano. The light construction that gives this ukulele its tonal power! Koa has a punchy, loud, distinct tone with a woody attack. With its light construction, it also really packs a lot of punch, tone, and resonance. It is a popular look and tonewood.
