**Sometimes I stock B-stocked (slightly blemished) ukuleles in order to pass the savings on to my customers. These are slight blemishes that in no way effect the playability and stability of your ukulele. They are marked with a "B" on the interior label. These are great ukes for people who do not mind a little cosmetic blemish in order to save some money!
This one is a blemish because there is a discoloring around the soundhole. You can see it in the close-up picture. It was the last of this model at Ohana, and I bought up the rarities to offer to my customers. So it is rare, but the soundhole looks a little funky, but if you reframe it, it kind of looks vintage-ish! Basically it is a way to get this very rare uke at a more affordable price.**
This is a limited edition model from Ohana. They come in from time to time, but it is super rare. And they said they are considering discontinuing this one. So it may be one of the last. The port orford cedar is deep, rich, full, juicy and bold. The myrtle is a warm, rich, mushy toned wood. Mushy is a good thing. It smooths out the attack. So together you get a bold ukulele that has a smooth, rich, and warm undertones making it a full, rich, smooth, pleasing, and unique tone! A goof word is "lush", this ukulele has a lush tone. And not only does it sound amazing, but it is a stunner with the unique wood grains that the myrtle possess.
