Sopraninos are great little ukes! They are smaller than a soprano, have a smaller scale than a soprano, and very charming and portable, and a lot of fun to play!   Ohana makes their Sopraninos very light, so they still have a big voice for a small instrument. This one is all solid mahogany. Mahogany has a warm and rich tone. The beauty of it being an all-solid instrument is, the more you play it, the better it will sound. It is light and resonant and makes a great travelling companion as well as every-day player!

If a soprano is too small for you, this ukulele will be too small for you!  Really give it some thought before you order.  The tiny scale is not for everyone, but if you have been hankering for a small ukulele that is still SUPER playable and for the size has a great sound!  Then this ukulele is for you!  Unlike the sopranissimos, the sopraninos can handle being tuned GCEA, though most people like the sound of it tuned up. It is nice that GCEA can be an option for when you are playing in groups!

Now, lets talk set-up!  With the short-scale the set up is very important!  VERY IMPORTANT!  And your sopranino will play slick if it comes from me.  Set up is ALWAYS included and drop-shipping is NEVER done!
