**I often take advantage of B-stock specials from Ohana, so I can pass on the savings to my customers who do not mind a minor cosmetic blem. These are always cosmetic, in no way structural, and do not affect the stability and playability of your ukulele.
I could not find the blemish on this one. But it was marked B for blemish. So there must be something, but it is going to be subtle. Make sure a light blemish will not bother you before purchasing.**
A great first uke! Or, heck, a great uke for your collection! It is a great bang for your buck. You get form and function. The solid spruce top gives it a nice, loud, resonant, punchy, and bold sound. The laminate mahogany back and sides brings in some lower tones as well as stability and looks! It is full of tone and built really well! You wont have to "baby" it as much with the laminate back and sides, but the solid top is where most of the tone comes from on a uke and you will be very pleased with the boldness that this beautiful ukulele packs!
