**I enjoy stocking blemished ukuleles for my customers who want to save some money, but do not mind a cosmetic blemish. These are purely cosmetic and in no way effect the structure and the playability of the ukulele. And they still get the same great setup. I will note the blemish below.
This one has the older tuners on it. So more or less it is outdated, but they are great tuners. Nothing is wrong with them and they arent any worse than current tuners. Just closed geared instead of open. The finish is a little scratchy in spots but not in any way that I can take a picture. The strings have already been upgraded and it is sporting some Martin Fluorocarbon strings, so there is no need to upgrade strings at checkout! It will save you some money for very minor things!**
Mahogany has a warm, rich, mellow, and full tone to it. Ohana mahoganies have great projection with a nice full tone. They really have a wonderful rich tone that really stands out! The beauty of it being an all-solid instrument is, the more you play it, the better it will sound. All-solid instruments open up with time, but will still sound amazing right out of the box. The Ohanas have a nice light construction that makes it very resonant. The gloss finish really gives this ukulele a nice look and really brings out the wood grain! It has a wonderful well-balanced, pleasing, and rich tone! I think you will be very pleased!
